That was my first thought, all those garbage bags are filled with old porn?Come on, think about it, all those fresh faces that aren't quite fresh anymore, and so they get buried by the porn industry, and then our garbage dumps.
When you live in Chicago and you read about it in the newspaper everyday. It is not like a chip it is more like a depressing monkey banging you over the head with a hammer. However until we get sensible drug laws in this country nothing is going to change.

Right on.The assertion that a house is an asset is ridiculous. It's clearly a consumable as it depreciates rather quickly without constant maintenance. You also never really own it as the Government will take your house if you can't afford the property taxes. Not only that but styles change and houses built 30 years ago are no longer in style and hence obsolete. Sure, someone will still buy them for the right price, but they won't fetch the same kind of price as a similar house that's new. But if we agree that a house is not an asset, then the way they calculate inflation is highly suspect. The PTB want a house to remain an asset so it's left out of the equation calculating inflation and therefore allowing for loose monetary policies in perpetuity.?

Don't worry - you're paying more for OSX when you buy the latest shiny overpriced crap from Apple.MS, who doesn't force you to use their software on a PC that they built, have to make their money from selling just the software.

So, how is charging $0 .20 to receive a text message by default without a visible way to immediately opt-out NOT charging for a paid feature I didn't sign up for? I didn't explicitly say "I want to receive text messages" yet I do anyway..."Add a premium text block right on your account by calling or doing it yourself online."Thanks for making my case for me."all you kiddies want something for nothing." Pot. Meet kettle. If I have to explain the fallacy of this argument, then it won't sink in anyway. Suffice it to say, both or either parties in this argument are looking for something for nothing (like a guaranteed paycheck on a contrived legalese 12-month contract regardless of service provision) - or we would have a shiny, happy, balanced marketplace without ANY gripes on either side. I however, subscribe to the philosophy that corporations exist to serve my/our collective common interest. I don't exist to serve theirs. Apparently it is a bit too much to ask for straight-forward terms, reliable service, and COMPETITIVELY priced products...Yes, you're absolutely right. If we don't want to pay to be raped by a phone company we can chose to not have a phone. Fantastic logic. Great excuse. You're right. If I can't understand the contract I shouldn't be buying a phone. I shouldn't be driving a car, owning a home, or eating either. Or is it - since I'm not qualified to recognize good gardening, engineering, or construction - I should just settle for mediocrity? On that same note, how many people do you know would sign these contracts (or how many of the first people who did sign them would have set precedence for the rest of us) had the terms been clearly delineated in plain English? ZERO. I for one can't wait to have to pay, pay, pay for a poorly provided service built on infrastructure subsidized by me, the taxpayer.Yes, Caveat Emptor is certainly the law of the land - but at some point, the necessity of service becomes the prey for corporate greed. That's called indentured servitude.Your pathetic excuses are precisely why mediocrity prevails. But hey, if you can't meet the standard, just lower the bar.So, how's Verizon treatin' ya these days? Good benefits?

Up until the 70s as well, Mormons believed that blacks were cursed by the god or the devil or however that works. You know 'cause of their (my) skin. |
