i have a 12" powerbook, her name is kiva
You might be right. I've known the type that genuinely liked the guys they were craving that attention from and WOULD date them. Not saying you're wrong but I genuinely believe if Peter had pulled his head out of his ass just a little while longer, he might have had a shot with her. Then again, he may very well have been acting out with a "gaming addiction" just to play mind games with her in return, so I guess anything is possible.

“Where were you guys when Haliburton and Cheney did this, oh, 6 or so years ago? Last time I checked Gore is a private citizen now and Cheney was the VP of the Free World... As a private citizen you can invest money in anything you like. If he were a current member of congress or still the VP or even the POTUS then we would have some serious issues.Or we wouldn't... because Cheney got away without a scratch...

You realize fuel cell vehicles are electric? Its just that a fuel cell produces electricity with a continuous flow of reactants (hydrogen and air (oxygen)) instead of oxidation-reduction reaction in a battery. I still think its more promising than battery tech in the short to medium term since batteries lose charge over time and wear out while fuel cells produce the same amount of electric current regardless of fuel level much like a gasoline or diesel engine (unlike batteries where current output and subsequently power will drop in many cases as the battery gets closer to depletion although this may not be as relevant for more modern batteries)..
I do electrical work myself and from what it looks like to me this picture was during a job that is either tearing down or remodeling. Most those wires, including the grounding are not connected but can be seen in the pile so they were run.!

Resistance is futile?
I don't think this number factored in industrial hemp, because if marijunua was legalized there would be no doubt hemp would be legal to. |

Where I come from (UK), "Hillary and Tenzing" is what everybody remembers. Hillary is certainly not remembered on his own.

Well unfortunately, the law does not agree with you (although I might tend to). The Supreme Court ruled a long time ago that businesses "affected with a public interest" can be regulated heavily, and can even deprive a private business of revenue via legislation alone - and that's not even when criminality is involved (copyright infringement, for example). See Munn v. Illinois (1877).The 14th wouldn't really apply to consumers in the manner you've described, since a customer is not being forced to pay for the service deprived, has no vested interest in it, and it's not a public utility. There is no "due process" when it's not your own personal property being taken from you, and the customer would essentially have no right to force a company to provide broadband. The legality is purely at the business level. This case would be one of a corporation being forced to deny customers based upon Federal law (presumably) outside of any judicial involvement. I believe this would be a pretty new idea, and I just don't know what rights (if any) a corporation would be able to flex in defense of these laws. One other way to attack this as a consumer would be to say you were being denied your right to Pursue Happiness, but that doesn't exactly sound like a strong legal argument... |
