and he's just a wee little one! you have to be 'kid'-ding me, that little ***** is just asking for a bleating
This is a confusing issue...Naturally, money should be made by offering the public a service or product. That is the basics of marketing: market what the consumers need.Do we need privatized prisons? If the reality of lobbying wasn't actually a reality, then I don't see any real issue. Money breeds competition, breeding better results. How would privatized prisons competing with one another affect competition? I see them focusing on getting prisoners in their prisons rather than being innovative and competing with other prisons. Why fight over a pie when you can just make more pie?I'm not a fan of privatizing duties left to our government. Our governments priority is the welfare of it's citizens. That means law enforcement. That means enforcing the law. That means locking up law breakers. Thus, prisons are something the government should manage.I am open to the other side of the coin, however. If anyone wants to present their case...What needs to happen is the protection against lobbying. Wherever money is made, there will be people who exploit that system. We see that now in healthcare and fake Medicare patients.

“I watched the first episode. It had the pacing of a stuffed monkey banging cymbals. It just seemed to arbitrarily leap ahead in time to establish the next plot point. It went PLOT POINT, PLOT POINT, PLOT POINT, without stopping to take a breath. I guess they wanted to get things going quickly but they did so at the expense of story, character and quality.

A deleted scene in Back to the Future Part II explains this. Biff was affected by this change very much so. After getting out of the deloreon and breaking his cane he proceeds to fade from existence! Apparently Lorraine got fed up with him and shot him some time circa 1999. Check out the DVDs their awesome! |
