I've always considered myself an independent, but I'm voting straight Democrat because the fundamentalists on the right scare the crap out of me, and I don't want to take the risk of having that nonsense in power.
I reckon folks should be held accountable for their actions, regardless of any certain predisposition.

“I'll only support this if the Centennial Olympic Park bombings memorial can carry the inscription "killed by a Christian Extremist" without these same people complaining. People kill in the name of _all_ religions. That doesn't mean that all (or even most) people of that particular religion are violent.

Second 'paragraph':"Oponent Mark Whitey won the town's vote for mayor with over 75 percent of the vote. "Great spelling and grammar skills ABC..
I had the smoking toy robot (that sold for $10,000 per the article). I grew up in the 1980s, so I guess my parents got it at a yard sale. You had to put a bit of oil in a little well and it would emit a stinky smoke.Naturally, this item was discarded years ago.!

I don't usually log in. But I have to agree with what this guy is saying. Why don't you guys do some research on security of these voting machines. There are problems with paper ballets and there are problems with electronic ballets. I use computers everyday and I completely understand why someone would want to make sure there ballets are counted in paper. I feel that by not providing a alternative means of voting when someone doesn't want to use computer's is unconstitutional. It is the same as having a literacy test. Like you guys said, they already have paper absentee ballets. He is not an absentee voter but he should have the right for his vote to count on paper if he chose. He shouldn't have to lie about his where abouts to vote. He didnt choose not to vote, he was forced not to vote because he believes that electronic votes are tampered with to easily to be substantial.
